All right, this Christmas weekend we went to San Francisco for a city walk. Yeah, it was traveling too. The Golden Bridge walk was stunning, though it was pretty windy on the bridge.
So we started from here. In Christmas Day, there were few restaurants or cafe open, but the bridge was kind of crowded. As we walked along the parking lots, you can see peoples from different directions. The coastline looked amazing, especially with friends joking around that we should surf instead of hiking. The winter of San Fransisco was colder than LA. So probably not a good idea to surf now~
It was definitely an easy hike. You can see the bridge all the time. The sign are very clear. When you reach to the bottom of the bridge, there is an route to the top of hill. As soon as you reach to the top, you can see the bridge very clear! And start from there, you start walking on the bridge. It took us about 2.5 hours to finished the whole trip.
Absolutely, the bridge has an amazing view of the City. Another nice thing is this bridge is allowed to walk with clear pedestrian and bike line. When you reach to the end of the bridge, just turn around and walk back. I love to see these ships, sailing boats, tourist boats on the water. The bay area were so busy with different boats ran into each other. Defiantly recommend a walk or bike trip if you are in town.
